Great service, amazing food served well. Friendly staff, efficient service, nice comfortable atmosphere. Free drink with Valentine's Day Dinner was a nice touch. Would have loved to try the deserts and home made ice cream but filled up on entree and mains.

Room service meals from the restaurant were substantial and delicious. The room was a decent size, clean and with appropriate facilities. Cafes and shops are a short drive back into town. There a petrol station next door for emergency supplies - and fuel.

Friendly reception, comfy bed, hot shower good water pressure, clean room and a very surprisingly good restaurant! The location is probably the only downside as a little bit out of town but literally 3 minutes drive so not a big issue. The street apeal is not great but don't judge on this as the rooms were just fine and food was terrific- highly recommend.

Well located, could park right outside our door which was convenient. Rooms are a little dated but very comfortable. Quick and friendly check-in. Excellent hot shower with good water pressure. I had emailed when I booked this motel that I was requiring a dinner table booked for 3 people. What I didn't realise was that I was the only booking for that night! Instead of cancelling this booking and asking me to find an alternate venue, they employed not only a chef but 2 other wait staff. I was so impressed that during this difficult economic time, they would place so much effort in keeping a customer happy. Amazing service.

Wonderful place that is very clean and a great price. We stayed 3 nights over Christmas and Margaret was very helpful in adding an additional nights stay during a busy time. It is not really walking distance to town, but there is the on site restaurant and a service station right next door. It is very quiet and you really don't hear any road noise, or anything from adjoining rooms.
There is a pool, which is big enough to entertain the kids for a while.
We will certainly be staying here again in the future.

Booked a room here for a night whilst traveling from Ballina to Moree. Booked the room over the phone.
En route I rang from Glen innes to advise our arrival time. When we got there the heater had been turned on in our room to make it more comfortable on a cold night.
The room was comfortable with ample room for 4 of us (2 kids, 2 adults)
Undercover parking right at the door.
We left an item in the room but got a phone call to let us know so we could collect on our way home.

As the Name suggests its in a great location just out of town The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable with everything you need. There is an onsite restaurant with delicious food. "Top of the Town" is an excellent name for this Motel and Restuarant because it totally describes this far from typical country town business.
My three friends from overseas..two of them were from Europe and the other from Canada.They commented to me that the couple managing the premises or their very courteous and helpful staff had placed a few delightful little extra touches that one only sees in high market 5 Star accomodation.
On the evening before my friends left we all dined in the "Top of the Town Restaurant" and the quality of the food and service were superb.

Great tidy Motel. It is out from the main town centre which made it more inviting to me. Margaret was very helpful & gave me a great nightly rate. Loved the added feature of an electric blanket on the bed for during winter (this is a rarity in motels I find). It also has a restaurant onsite which is a bonus.

Quiet and Relaxing
Far enough out of town and positioned away from the main road to ensure you get a quite nights sleep and rest if travelling through Inverall. Considering the number of guests booked in we were surprised at the few number eating in the restaurant. The food was excellent and puts many a big city restaurant to shame. When we were there we were the only in house guests but there were plenty of locals present so they know when they are onto a good thing.

As I was driving through Inverell, feeling tired and being a woman on my own, I called in to see if the "Top of the Town motel" had a room available. I was greeted by the owner and she made me feel comfortable. She couldn't do enough for me to make my stay as comfortable as possible. Room was spacious, plenty of room to park my vehicle, the right price and a restaurant. Traffic noise was minimal.
I might add the shower in the room was the best. If there was to be a negative the salad served with my in room dining was a little "sad", but all the other positives made up for that. Thank you "Top of the Town".

I stayed at this motel a number of times over the past year and would always choose to stay here when in the area on business. I love the quaint Australian motel and this does not disappoint. These are classic rooms where you park out the front of your room. Inside the rooms are impeccably clean (yes my no 1 priority), well appointed with all that you could need for a short stay. Stayed here for one night with my husband and 2 children. Booked a family room which was very clean and spacious. 3 single beds in the main room and a queen in a separate bedroom. Dined in the motel restaurant for dinner and the home cooked meals were famtastic and just what we needed after a long day of travelling. Do recommend eating there. The only down side was the beds were a bit hard but I can only speak for the one room we stayed in. Overall the spacious room was great and wouldn't hesitate to book it again

Again this year,we stayed at the Top of the Town for our Xmas holiday. We spent three days celebrating being a family (nine of us!) together for a well earned break. Margaret and Scotty made sure that we had relaxing time. We had rooms close to each other and near the pool. We put up our Xmas lights, had BBQ breakfasts and dinners and all of us lounged around the pool. Nothing was too much trouble for the TOTT team - we stored food in the fridges, got extra cutlery and cooking utensils - and always with a 'Can Do' attitude that is so lacking in today's world.
And a special thanks to Margaret for arranging the best crumbed cutlets EVER for dinner on Xmas Eve. We alll had dinner in the restaurant and the food was tasty, timely and sumptuous.

The room was a good size and very quiet, clean and comfortable. There was fresh milk (always a bonus), and frig was well stocked if snacks or drinks were needed. The Managers were very friendly and helpful.

If you want a clean comfortable motel to stay in I would highly recommend this one. Rates are excellent. Hot breakfast included. All meals are very generous. Hospitality can't please enough, even a complimentary port after our restaurant meal. Well Done!

Great restaurant attached prices really reasonable and food fantastic. Room clean and place quiet, phone and chat to the family run motel owner. You'll be pleased you made contact, don't just rely on the internet for the best deal.

Inverell NSW. "Top of Town" motel. What a find! Besides what was described as a standard room for $99 cash, a huge free cooked breakfast was included. After 2 nights here, we moved south and were charged $125 for an executive room which didn't measure up to the "Top of Town" standard room, in respect of cleanliness or facilities offered. The Host and Hostess at "T of T" were so obliging and friendly. The $125 motel offered a take-away across the street for meals, whereas the T of T has its own restaurant which caters for all tastes.
We would recommend The Top of Town as we found it to be a very pleasant experience.

On arrival we were shown our room & found it to be very clean tidy, with nice white towels & lovely hot water when showering, room service was excellent, & the room was a good size, we had a very nice meal at the restaurant, Scott & Liz was very helpfull, we would highly reccommend this Motel.

The rooms are all ground floor, and easily accessible. I have stayed here numerous times and the cleanliness is has always been excellent. It's easy to find, just on the western outskirts of town.
It's about a 5 min drive from the main street, but they have a great restaurant/room service menu, so you don't NEED to go out to eat.
The rooms are quite roomy, and well furnished.

Good sized rooms, clean with all facilities you would expect, friendly service, undercover parking for those frosty mornings, a good experience. The hosts prepared the rooms with turning the heating on prior to arrival

We stayed overnight in Inverell at the Top of the Town Motel. Because I like to have separate sleeping area to the living area we booked the Family room, which has a separate bedroom. Margaret, the owner, was absolutely lovey - both on the phone when booking, and then during check in and during our stay. The room was clean and comfortable but the shower was the stand out! None of this running around trying to get wet business! The water was plentiful, hot and the pressure was unbelievable! I will never stay anywhere else in Inverell now! Thank you to the owners for making sure that a hot and strong shower is not something unattainable!

Inverell really does welcome visitors with a smile. It was obvious everywhere, but most of all at this comfortable Top of the Town motel. We stayed 3 nights and were really impressed with the staff effort to make us comfortable. The room was spacious and very clean with every comfort. There is also a great restaurant open every night at the property. The town itself is bursting with civic pride. A great place to discover the country way of life.

A well priced, exceptionally clean accommodation. The beds were warm and comfortable. The owners and staff were attentive to detail. Breakfast is optional and there is a restaurant attached. Because we were a group of five, the owner discounted the cost of one room.

Margaret and Scott offer a homely environment with up to date facilities and comfort. The rooms are cosy and spacious enough. They even have electric blankets for cold nights!
The restaurant is our favourite - when we are in town, it's the Top of the Town for dinner every night. Breakfast is a highlight with a country style selection and the servings are more than adequate.
There is always a smile and nothing is too much trouble. We have spent three Christmases here, and many other stays over the last four years and this is the ONLY place to stay in Inverell.

This motel is located on the Moree side of town and has everything you need. Nice rooms, good food, good caring staff, a pool and even some animals for the children.
The motel rooms are set back a little from the road and it has plenty of parking.
The rooms are a good size with TV, air conditioning and mini bar.
You will not regret staying here.

Even though on the highway, Top of the Town is quiet, easy parking, great restaurant, pool, rooms are clean and modern great place to stay in Inverall. Staff are always ready to assist in any way. For a country motel the Top of the Town has a mini bar service also available which is rare to see. Great place to stay.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed here, rooms are very clean and tidy. The pool was great on the hot days. Good off street parking. A/C in the rooms is good. No problems staying here. The bed was comfortable & staff v good also. Breakfast was right on time.
